In-person sessions take place monthly at GSHP in Brooklyn and are lead by 1-2 practitioners at a time

All if MINKA practitioners are either BIPOC or allies that adhere to MINKA’s ethos of making healing available for all by creating a save environment for all clients regardless of orientation, background, race and ethnicity, and by providing a sliding scale for most offerings to make them more accessible.
In addition MINKA is deeply involved with decolonizing Reiki and other healing practices, and I am proud to be a part of this calling <3

This year I have been focusing on connecting with like-minded community. I was able to find my teachers at MINKA Brooklyn and started a work-exchange (in January) with them. SO thankful for this connection ;-)
My plan is to be able to offer in-person sessions with MINKA’s community Reiki, but so far, there is a scheduling conflict as I am juggling F/T employment, my work exchange, and private Reiki offerings. I will announce when scheduling stars align—hopefully soon
I have been taking a break from offering monthly group reiki sessions; I wasn’t reaching as many people as I wished and decided to redirect my energy for now
Knowing I would focus on re-attunement, I wanted to reimagine my services and moving away from having a plan but being in the flow more. Currently, I have no plans to reinstate them

I was re-attuned to the advanced Usui Reiki practitioner (Reiki Master); I am now able to use advanced energy healing tools and techniques and use the Master symbol Dai-Ko-Mio
Interestingly, both of my teachers (previous from May 2020 and now) used different symbols
There is no consensus and I can now use both types of power symbols and master symbols
I just got re-attuned to level I and II (III is coming up in June)

I am live on Instagram every Friday to send a real-time reiki boost and answer questions about reiki. This is a quick 5 minute live reiki flow for my community–meaning you! These lives will be up in my regular feed for 48hrs., after that, they are only in the general IG video series feed. If you can’t catch the IG live, don’t worry, the reiki energy is still captured in the video, so whenever you watch it you will receive the reiki boost. At the end of December I will be doing my first reiki group session. This will take place without our computer screens at a set time and date, so all you have to do is sign up under my events page, and when the session takes place, relax and receive. Dates and times are announced in my newsletter and detailed directions will be sent out via email prior. If you missed this one, don’t worry, I am planning to do these group sessions regularly. Yay, can’t wait!
